We are a maritime air rescue membership organization that provides emergency rescue services to the private boating community. All services are initiated through the waves rescue app. This service provides helicopter rescue in the event of life-threatening circumstances – this may include medical emergencies or events impacting the vessel that could lead to the occupants being in imminent danger – fire, mechanical or active sinking.

Currently, we service the Florida area, from Jacksonville to Miami.
Specifically, within a 150-nautical mile radius of the Melbourne, Florida area. In order better serve you in the event of an emergency, you must be within the emergency coverage area to affect a rescue. This coverage area is indicated on the application’s map by a green circle – maintaining your float plan within this area will allow a rescue service. Review this area before starting your excursion. Our rescue base locations may change or increase and as such rescue coverage areas are subject to change. Check the application map on a regular basis for up-to-date coverage areas.

In order to register for your annual Waves Rescue Membership please go to www.wavesrescue.com/Membership and select your preferred payment method. Memberships can be purchased through monthly payments or a one-time annual payment.
Once you complete the registration process, you will then be able to access the app and all its features!

Waves Rescue is not an insurance company.

Each of our rescue bases is staffed 24/7 with highly trained pilots, crew, chiefs, and rescue personnel. After assessing the extent of the emergency, additional rescue services may be called upon.

Waves Rescue App can be downloaded on the Apple Store as well as the Google Play Store.

Waves Rescue App requires a 6-digit activation code to be entered after first-time login in order to fully access the app. The activation code can be found on the membership confirmation page.

While on your vessel, if you feel you are in danger and require immediate assistance you can activate your emergency button within the app. Having access to your device(s) is essential and that includes password availability. Once activated, the signal will go to the Waves Rescue operation center and your emergency contacts will also be notified. The sooner this is activated the quicker the response time. You will be contacted by one of our operation center personnel while the rescue team is in transit.

A boating emergency can happen anytime, even for those who are well-trained and equipped.  Having access to immediate air support not only provides you and your loved one peace of mind but could literally be the difference between life and death.  Immediate dispatch can allow the search element to be removed from search and rescue.  Even in severe weather support can be on its way with the simple push of a button.

Evacuation coverage starts at $39.95 per month. Memberships must have been in effect for at least 15 days before an emergency rescue can be initiated and covered by the plan.

Please go to www.wavesrescue.com/my-account in order to renew your Waves Rescue Membership.
You can utilize the activation code and download the app as soon as your subscription process is complete.  Upon receiving confirmation of membership and receiving the welcome email you will receive a date upon which time the membership will be active.  This will be 15 days after payment is made.  Only after this 15-day period can an air rescue be initiated and covered by the membership.  Any rescue requested within this initial 15 day period will be billed at current rates.
A membership with Waves Rescue covers the member AND the vessel they own.  This vessel will be identified during the account membership registration.

All individuals aboard the waves rescue registered vessel are covered for any life-threatening emergency under the terms and conditions of the waves rescue membership.

Should the waves rescue member be on a vessel other than what is registered to their account, only that member is covered under their waves rescue membership.
If a member wishes to cancel at any time they may contact us at membership@wavesrescue.com and cancellation will be made effective at the end of the current subscription period. No refunds or prorated billing calculations will be made.
Waves Rescue will allow a one-time transfer. In order to initiate a transfer please email us at membership@wavesrescue.com.

We take all major credit cards as well as ACH payments.
